Really liked the keyboard. It has solid build quality. Uses Outmeu brown switches. Switches have minimal wobble and have a good feel to them while typing.

Alhamdulillah received it on time.
Great value for the product. Build quality is great and gives a satisfying typing experience. Typewriter keys are a big bonus.
Thank you Redragon 🙂

I have recently bought the Redragon k556. It’s been 25 days since I started using this keyboard and I have to say that personally, of all the key switches I have tried (Cherry mx red, Outemu blue, Outemu brown) the Outemu brown is the best in terms of typing and general daily work. For gaming though, I think a little more sensitive switch would be better but this, by no means, is bad. The round keycaps give a very retro and unique feel. The indented keycaps make it feel like the keycaps are wrapped around my fingers as I rest my fingertips on them. Mistakes during typing were a lot in the start but a week later, I was at my full speed. The round keycaps initially make it hard to type as you have to be careful that the fingers are at the dead center of the keys which increases the number of mistypes but it takes only a week to recover. There is little to no key wobble making a firm linear motion when I press the keys. A complaint I have with the keycaps is that the key removing tool works only for square/rectangle keycaps and slides off on the round keycaps. I would also like to add that the keys are very easily scratched from the sides and I actually did scratch a key while trying to remove the keycap using the tool given in the box. I really like the solid, sturdy and industrial design. The weight makes it feel like a beast. The black brushed aluminum with silver lining along the edges looks very good and feels very industrial. The only complaint I have in the build quality is that the points where the two sides of the keyboard joins near the corners, they are very rough. You can feel that the left and right sides are cut a bit longer than the thickness of the front side making it visibly out of place and ugly. Also, there is no braided cable which is sad considering this is such a good and expensive machine. It feels odd when my PKR.1,500 mouse that is 4 years old has a braided cable but my PKR.8,900 brand-new keyboard does not. Another complaint I have is that the function key shortcuts are not lit by the backlight. It does not seem like a bother at first but since I am using my computer at night for work when everyone else sleeping and I cannot turn on the light. I have mis pressed the volume shortcuts 12 times (yes, I counted) in a four-hour sitting. The lighting is also very good. Not too bright, perfect shine from the brushed aluminum. The light configuration is easy and simple regardless of me using the Redragon software. Other than some minor complaints that are easily solvable if Redragon listens to their customers, the keyboard is very good looking and feels very nice, overall. Although there are some problems here and there, I would recommend this keyboard.
